About Astromaitri

Astromaitri started with a simple frustration. Most astrology and matrimony sites either hide everything behind a paywall, or fill the screen with vague predictions and hard-sell “remedies.” We wanted something quieter and more honest: a place where the chart is computed properly, the reading is written in plain language, and you can see a great deal for free before you ever pay.

Astromaitri is a small, independent project — not a large company, and not a call-centre of astrologers. When you write to us, you reach the people who build the site.

Every kundli, dasha, and compatibility score on Astromaitri is computed — not typed up by a person guessing. Planetary positions are worked out from your exact date, time and place of birth, then read against the classical rules a careful astrologer would apply by hand. Same method, done to the minute, with no arithmetic slips.

We’re honest about one thing up front: these are computed reports, not live consultations with an astrologer. No one reads your chart in person. What you get is a careful classical calculation, written up in warm, readable English — available any time, without an appointment.

Your birth chart, kundli matching, daily horoscope, and panchang are free, with no sign-up required. The paid Deepdive report and the matrimony features are how we keep the lights on. We try hard to make the free surface genuinely useful on its own — not a teaser.

We love this tradition and take the classical methods seriously. We also believe you should hold astrology lightly. Treat our reports as reflection and guidance, not as certainty about the future or a substitute for your own judgement — especially on matters of health, law, finance, or marriage.
